Venrooy
on Social Networks: lets connect!
24th
June 2010

Dear client, dear
visitor,
As a leading cable
equipment specialist, Venrooy notices the explosive growth of social
networks like Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter: a growing number of
people also in Venrooys more traditional infrastructure/electro/maritime
markets - connects on such networks to share valuable information,
to build new business contacts and to share exciting photos and
video footage.
Increasingly, these social networks prove to be new channels
for doing real business. Venrooy believes that neglecting this
would be a missed opportunity, and it therefore added 5 icons at
the right bottom corner of its website: inviting you all to join
Venrooys social network pages. These pages will be filled
with new information daily, weekly, monthly.
There are millions of
people active in the world of cable storage/winding/transporting/laying.
A growing number of them is already presented on social networks.
Make sure you connect with them:

1st October 2009

Venrooy Cable Equipment is one of the nominees for a European DME

means being recognised as a leader in innovation, in implementing
change and excellence in designmanagement. Venrooy is very pleased
with the nomination; it is thrilled that the successful turnaround
of its company is now also getting recognised throughout Europe.

Venrooy
takes away credit pressure by accelerating its supplychain
13th July 2009

Working within the borders of your current account is not easy during
recession. But it becomes a real challenge if you need to finance
an additional growth of +42%. This was Venrooy's situation end 2008.
By implementing a
more modular way of working, by outsourcing and by switching to
new stockkeeping suppliers, Venrooy Cable Equipment reduced its
time of manufacturing dramatically. One example: the time to produce
3 heavy VEN-P
windingmachines was cut from 7 months to less than half.
The acceleration
works out well. Clients choose more often for the speedier Venrooy,
and Venrooy can manage its growing business within the old, smaller
financial constraints.
Venrooy
strengthens Engineering and invests in new 3D CAD system
23rd
March 2009

With the appointment
of two experienced Engineers and investment in "SolidWorks
Professional", Venrooy has strengthened its Engineering department
considerably.
Venrooy delivers
strong cablehandling solutions: exceeding on functionality, modern
designed, more durable. The recent investment in Engineering is
completely aligned with that as the new CAD system leads to faster
and more efficient working, and prevents costly mistakes in technical
design. Managed by experienced Engineers it will prevent unneccesary
cost and will lead to faster launches of better products. This is
in the interest of all Venrooy's clients.
The investment in
the Engineering department must be recognised as an important next
steppingstone towards Venrooy achieving a top3 position in Europe.
Venrooy
books large order Fugro
16th
february 2009

Worldplayer Fugro
Engineers ordered 3 heavy VEN-P windingmachines at Venrooy Cable
Equipment. The machines will be delivered later this year.
During past months
Venrooy booked large orders for VEN-P machines with a.o. Jan De
Nul Group, Scaldis and Fugro. By this, Venrooy increased its share
in the maritime market considerably.

Venrooy books largest order ever Jan De Nul Group
8th
January 2009

Venrooy Cable Equipment
booked its largest order thusfar for Jan De Nul Group, a worldleader
in dredging, civil, heavylift and environmental projects.
A series of five
VEN-P
windingmachines will be delivered for newly built ships after a
first row of three. These eight large but compact machines for (un)winding
of steelwire can handle different loadweights between 15 and 150
tons.
Venrooy selected as European main supplier Carl Stahl Group
17th
November 2008

Carl Stahl
Group selected Venrooy Cable Equipment as main supplier of winding
machines for its European manufacturing locations. Recently Venrooy
was awarded orders for multiple machines for 4 manufacturing plants.
Carl Stahl is one
of the worldleaders in steel rope-, lifting- safety- and lashing
equipment. Venrooys achievement fits with its strategy to
become a top-3 leader in the European market for cable equipment.
Venrooy doubles order intake in challenging economic times
20th October 2008
Venrooy Cable Equipment doubled its order intake in a period in
which the (Dutch)
industry shows declining order intakes already for 6 months in a
row. During past 12
months, Venrooys turnover already grew by 40%.
Since the takeover in June 2006, the new owners professionalised
the company
dramatically as to achieve a top-3 position in the European market
for cable equipment.
Both product innovation, a radically improved supplychain and an
aggressive marketing- and sales strategy have been and will stay
important components for growth. During this period, sales in cable
drum carriers fivefolded. Also sales of heavy winding machines to
e.g. the Energy and Maritime markets have grown significantly.
Venrooy
increases turnover by 37%
27th May 2008
In the twelve months
after its launch of the new LTV-R drum carrier series on 27th May
last year, Venrooy Cable Equipment increased its turnover bookings
by 37%; this compared to the 12 months before.
Successful product
launches, new clients
Drivers of this increase
are the very successful launches of the LTV-R and ZW-R drum carriers,
as well as the growing number of (international) clients for its
VEN-P/L/S/E winding machines, particularly in the Building-, Electro-
and Maritime sectors.
From traditional
manufacturing to supply-chaining and assembly
The vast growth did
not lead to increased delivery times, as Venrooy changed its supply-chain
dramatically : coming from being a traditional manufacturing company,
Venrooy is rapidly changing into a supply-chaining company maintaining
the best mix between selfmanufacturing and assembly. Since its takeover
mid 2006, close cooperation was established with professional suppliers
of modules and components, having reduced throughput time considerably.
Venrooy's focus in this process lies on :
- Owning best knowledge
on and development of the smartest products and solutions
- Managing the supply-chain : selecting best in class suppliers,
and controlling the best mix between selfmanufacturing and assembly
inhouse
- Collecting the best knowledge about clients' demands, and translating
this into strong, tangible products
In the growthmode
Since its takeover
in June 2006, Venrooy Cable Equipment is in the growth mode. The
recent vast turnover growth provides the evidence that the company's
growth strategy works as planned.
Introduction
ZW-R drum trailer serie for slowtraffic
For load carrying weights of 11 up
to 30 tons
March 2008
After the major success of last years'
launched LTV-R drum trailer for speedway traffic (sales quadrupled!),
Venrooy Cable Equipment from The Netherlands now introduces a series
of 6 drum trailers for slowtraffic : the ZW-R series
This
great looking new series has strong product features enabling cablers
to work much more efficiently, safer and easier:
- An upside opening rear bridge (much easier drum placement)
- Easy and more efficient transport as the trailer is dividable
(easier and cheaper transport over longer distances)
- Broadening the trailer later is easy and cheap, simply by using
a broader inbetween piece (lowers investment, therefore more efficient)
- Advanced quicklocks for axle insertionblock (securing faster and
easier)
- A new innovative drum-drive concept, with direct drive on the
axle (more precise, no slippage)
- Broad tyres for perfect grip on soft underground (safer)
- Extensive lighting in the rearbridge (safer), etc.
The ZW-R is
protected by European registration.

Quadrupled
sales LTV-R drum trailers for speedway
For load carrying weights up to 2,7 tons
February 2008

Since Venrooy's launch
of the new LTV-R range in May 2007, its sales in speedway trailers
have more than quadrupled : an immense success.
Many national and
international companies have meanwhile chosen for the new model.
Since its introduction hundreds of interested companies received
quotes and are currently evaluating buying one of the 8 models under
the series.
Responsible for the
success is the combination of strong user advantages (faster, easier,
safer working) and its unique modern looks fitting with the modern
image companies wish to show to their markets.
Already shortly after
introduction, the new LTV-R range showed to be a big hit. Venrooy
is very pleased with the growing attention for the drum trailer.
The LTV-R
is protected by European registration.
